The Colonnade Offers Retirees Expanded and Diverse Choices in Life-Style
Bob Roskamp's visions have resulted in the development of many great retirement communities across the country. The Colonnade Life-Care community in Sun City Grand, Surprise, Arizona, is no exception. Located at the intersection of Mountain View Boulevard and Goldwater Ridge Drive, residents are scheduled to begin moving in late 2007, early 2008.
Plans to create The Colonnade were set in motion under the strong and capable leadership of the Roskamp Arizona Management & Development partnership. The independent life-care community will offer seniors a range of recreational and shopping opportunities and access to health care services, including Del E. Webb Memorial Hospital in Sun City West.
The community is an innovative new concept in senior living in Sun City Grand. It will offer Casitas, Town Homes and Villa Apartments with eleven floor plans, ranging from 1,051 square feet to 2,151 square feet of living space with private two-car garages or underground parking. A total of 358 homes are planned.
The Colonnade's variety of amenities and services will be housed in the adjacent Recreational Village. The village will feature a fitness/wellness center, a business center, indoor pool and spa, indoor walking track, exercise and fitness facility, library, billiards room, and cyber café. It will also include restaurant dining with outdoor dining courtyards, arts and crafts and a private auditorium and stage. And, the Sun City Grand address will give residents membership privileges in Sun City Grand's recreational centers.
Under The Colonnade Life-Care Contract residents will be ensured a lifetime of care, regardless of changing health or finances. If a resident's medical condition ever necessitates assisted or skilled nursing care, the contract includes priority access and discounted rates at its Health Care Center.
This state-of-the-art gated community will offer an atmosphere of vitality in an open-neighborhood setting while providing the support and security sometimes needed during the retirement phase of life. The residents will enjoy an array of services enabling them to escape the burden of traditional home ownership.
